Why you can’t understand Daniel Montbars, V-B: Estonia Riga Warsaw and love at first sight

May 15, 2013

In Tartu, my Estonian brother Gurzutt invited me to a shot of moonshine of his own. It is very good, this very batch was even approved by Bruce Sterling. He also gave me a small 50cl bottle of it, he said;

– Take this with you.
– But I only have a cabbin bag, there is no way I can get this in the plane, I said.
– Just tell them it is your medecine.
– That is never going to work…
– It worked for me !

Why you can’t understand Daniel Montbars, part V-A: going around the world again.

May 14, 2013

My wife left me 5 months ago, spent all my energy trying to win her back, and finally moved away from home 1 month ago. Anyway, I found a cheap room in a shared flat and kept my job as a programmer.

Chapter IV of my life is over now and I will write it later when I have time. Since then, I have been in a few bands, copied facebook twice, moved with my family in a great home, traveled to France, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, and I am now in Estonia. I have realized that I just want to read, write, do and listen to music, play chess and of course travel, preferably by boat, and tent on the beach.

So I realized that I didn’t need a job nor do I need so much money to do this. So yeah, ten years ago I was in the streets, then I got rich, spent it all and decided to ditch my job and apartment to start chapter V. I’m now looking for a boat. This is what my announce is like.

Why you can’t understand Daniel Montbars, a brief biography, part III: falling in love in the country side

Welcome to your uncle’s

The country side made me feel welcome. Living in a small town is a relief. You can go everywhere even to the suburbs by foot. It’s charming, the people there take their time. I used to walk faster than anybody there because I came from Paris. I learnt to walk slowly in the country side.

Our street

At 16 years old, i limited my drug trafficking to just being able to smoke for free. I was selling hash and my bro – let’s call him Ric – was selling weed with more for more or less the same purpose.

Wisky & trees

April 9, 2012
New free (as in “free spech”, not “free beer”) lyrics:
woke up this morning
Said I woke up this morning
Satan waiting for me

much wisky last night
many trees last night
you invoked evil

But trees are so hot
you know they are hot
you take your pants off

take off all your clothe
and wander naked
even your socks off

drunk so much wisky
so so much wisky
drunk with your pants off

better tastes pants off
much better pants off
That’s now your way

Get a life

February 1, 2012

I went to Paris last week. Well although I spent 7 years of my life there, I’m definitely not one of them. 10% of the people I met there were normal. 90% of them were totally crazy.

It’s insane how people can be aggressive for insignificant details. Probably they spend too much time into their TV and just have no life at all. Their reality seems very far from yours. People there do not handle any kind of frustration without getting angry. Maybe their soulmate broke up and a parent is dead that day or maybe they just need to fart but don’t dare.

Infinity. This concept was associated with two things by Albert Einstein: the universe and Human stupidity.

Infinity is represented in our mind as an objective concept about the universe. It’s in constant expansion thus it is physically finite at an instant T – it is infinite in space and time.

Lately infinity has taken a subjective sense to me. Of course History shows that Humanity is capable of the dumbest things, that’s still very far from us and thus is more objective. But everyday I am more and more amazed by how different people apply the same stupidity pattern to make their own lives more miserable. Something like this must happen in their head: “I’m going to stop thinking, take just enough of what I eared and start being fucking pissed off”.

I mean come on, if you want to pass your nerves that’s normal even I do it. Take a pencil and a sheet of paper and write. Hell, why not open a bullshit blog like this one ?

But come on, what is Godwin going to do for you ? Nothing that’s totally useless.

Is it really good for you to get angry every day ? Of course it’s not good for you, don’t do it.

Smoke a joint, grab a guitar, fuck a whore, take a shot. For fuck sake do whatever you want but don’t base your life on frustration.

The concept of Seneca (4 BC – 65 AD), in De Brevitate vitæ, demonstrates a simple concept to live longer: spend less time fighting (amongst other things). Spending less of your life in insignicant things indeed adds lifetime for enjoyable things.

My family xmas present, a big fat FUCK YOU

December 20, 2011

It’s christmas and all the sudden my family cares about us ? They want us coming over to visit them AGAIN ? In 6 years, we had two children. But they never visited us. But we went there a shitload of time. Like in february a couple of months after we had our daughter, we did a 5000km road trip with our 2 underaged kids to present them to my family. It’s been 6 years since we’ve been doing this shit and they never came to visit us.
